There’s a lot of value in your brand and it needs to be reflected in everything you do as a business. Here are five places your branding could be missing:

  1. Your packaging. This isn’t just about including your logo but all of your packaging elements need to be ‘on-brand’. From your fonts (including the small print), colour palette and the materials you choose - if you’re all about recycling and being environmentally friendly, using plastic will completely destroy any trust you’ve built.
  2. Your social posts. When someone looks at your feed, will they be able to see a theme or are there lots of mixed messages? Using colours, fonts and imagery that aligns with your brand will help to pull it all together.
  3. Your emails. Customers should be able to immediately recognise when they’ve just received an email from their fav business and know what to expect. Applying your branding theme to your email templates is a great way to help with that.
  4. Your signage. You might have it sorted online but not so much in real life. Ditch that old sign and get your vehicle sign-written so you look super-slick when you turn up to the job.
  5. In the details. If you’re a brand that’s about being homegrown and understated, a slick email campaign or flash signage just won’t work and something more homemade, organic or jumbled would be more aligned. The point is being consistent.
