DEFINE WHERE YOU NEED TO BE.
Before you do anything, you need to know who your target market is. Where they are, when they’re looking for your type of business - and be there.
Think about what problem they might have and what solutions you have to offer. Where would they go to find you - is it a Google search, a magazine, a flyer?
Are they thinking about your type of product or service on the drive to work or when they’ve just become engaged? Put yourself in your customer’s shoes or ask people you know.
Once you’ve worked out those touchpoints, make sure you show up there (and consistently). This could be through posting on social media, advertising in a magazine or emailing your mailing list. Show them the value you have to offer and build trust.
Don’t forget to occasionally tell them how they can buy from you and when the time is right, they will.
